30th Anniversary Party
It's not a misprint. The North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission officially permitted the sale of malt beverages and unfortified wine at the Blue Crab Tavern on 4/20. A lot of change has occurred on this sandbar in thirty years. If you want to feel the unbridled spirit of a bygone era, this is the place to visit.
Argie is the dynamo that has tended the bar of this waterside flat top for well over 10,000 days. In fact, she's been bartending on the Outer Banks since 1984 - first at the Buoy 9 and then at The Creekside before she purchased it and renamed it Blue Crab.
Join us as we celebrate this auspicious occasion with complimentary BBQ, throwback pricing on draft beer and a live musical performance by The Yacht Dogs (7 - 10 pm).

Jorts In June celebrates the convergence of cut-off jeans, live music, and red Solo cup culture in a fun-filled, laid-back atmosphere. It's all for a good cause - we'll be raising money for a local charity

We’re smoking on the water for Argie's Birthday. Enjoy free a Pig Pickin’ served up with live music by Hot Sauce. Pickin' starts at 4. Music by Hot Sauce at 7 pm.
